My name is Rachel, and I am running for the position of Student Union President at Leeds Beckett University. I am a final-year Adult Nursing student and have served as a student representative since my first year. Additionally, I am a BAME and Global Majority Ambassador and the undergraduate student representative on the School of Health Academic Committee. With my experiences, I have gained an understanding of the challenges faced by students and their expectations. I plan to use this knowledge to collaborate with students and create a balanced study-life atmosphere. I am also a strong advocate of sustainability and environmental protection, and I am committed to making our campus more ecologically friendly, inclusive, and equitable for all.
My manifesto focuses on creating a supportive and inclusive environment for all students, regardless of their background or circumstances. Through collaboration and advocacy, I aim to make Leeds Beckett University a better place for all students.
