Hello!! My name is Mohit Ranade, or MO. I am doing a Masters in graphic design.
I am campaining in this years student union elections for the following role :

• Activities & Events Officer

I have always liked interacting with people, getting to know them, know about them.From a very young age, I have watched my parents help people. This has inculcated in me the importance of being kind to others. 

Before my journey at Beckett began, I was a Senior Manager in a graphic design company where I was leading a team of seven people. My main responsibilites were to come up with new monthly design themes and get them executed as per the requirements of the clients. I would like to bring to the table what I have done in the last 8 years on the job to the university.

For the role of Activites & Events officer, I would like to make all gatherings at
the university more inclusive. We, the Beckett family have been blessed in that
we have such diverse cultures at both campuses. Should not we be taking
advantage of this while planning our events & activities ? And if the events &
activities are for the students, shouldn’t they be involved in planning them ?
In executing them ?

If I am appointed as your Activities & Events Officer, I will aspire to broaden
inclusivity to all the different cultures we have, and make sure the events are tailor made to the preferences of the students. 

For this to happen, I will need your support because we are all in this together.
