My name is Susmita Senapati. I am studying here MSC in project management  I would love to be a part of a Union that works for the benefit of all student I am running for NUS delegate for the year 2023-2024. I was  a member of the politics society at my college life. One day I hope to pursue a career in politics but one has to start somewhere- hopefully by being elected as an NUS Delegate soon!

We all have an urge to change things for the betterment of our future but most of us don’t know which way to head. I want to be the voice for  students who are new to Leeds and to improve the quality of our lives during our years at university. I would achieve this by being available virtually and on campus to listen and tackle issues, along with hosting regular campaigns that address important student issues which I will then raise with the appropriate departments. 

I come from a multicultural background. Born in India and completed my education  from India and I understand and respect the importance of various cultures. I will take every possible step to make life easier for international students and all those coming from different backgrounds and communities.

I would like to represent all students who has put all their effort to reach here and have dream to grow in their career . Including women who struggled from their family and whole world to prove themselves.

I respectfully ask you to give me your votes so that I can represent us all at the NUS delegate events so that we can build better lives for ourselves and others around us.
