My name is Tejashwi, and I am running for the position of Academic Officer. With my experience as Global Ambassador and Course Representative, I understand the needs and challenges of students. My main objective is to provide more opportunities and exposure for students while removing barriers between professors and students.
Collaborate with Industry Professionals: I will work closely with industry professionals to establish partnerships and internships that provide students with real-world experience. These partnerships will allow students to work on industry projects and gain insights into current trends and practices.
Create Workshops and Skill-Based Training: I will organize workshops and skill-based training sessions that provide students with practical training in various fields. These workshops will be led by industry professionals who will share their expertise and help students develop their skills.
Remove Communication Barriers: I will work to promote open communication channels and feedback mechanisms between students and professors. I will encourage professors to provide regular feedback on students' work and create opportunities for students to provide feedback on their professors' teaching.
Increase Chance for Feedback Revaluation: I will work to increase opportunities for feedback revaluation to ensure that students receive fair and accurate assessments. I will encourage professors to be open to feedback and provide students with opportunities to appeal their grades or ask for additional feedback.
Organize Fun and Engaging Events: I will organize events related to each course, such as conferences for business studies, showcases for art students, and talks with sports experts. These events will provide students with opportunities to network with professionals in their fields, showcase their talents, and learn from experts.
I believe that by implementing these initiatives, we can create a more inclusive and engaging academic environment. If elected, I promise to work tirelessly to bring these changes to our campus and make your voices heard."
