Course Reps

Course Representatives are undergraduate (UG) or postgraduate taught (PGT) volunteers who give their time to represent and empower the students on their courses to shape the student experience not only in the current academic year, but evoking change for years to come.

If you would like to become a Course Representative in your area of study, please contact your Course Director to let them know, and they can ensure that you are registered through your Course Administrator.

PGR Representatives

If you are a Postgraduate Research student studying for your PhD or MRes and your main relationship with the university is as a student, then you may have ideas for how the academic experience for you and your peers could be improved.

The role of PGR Representative is a voluntary position where you would be in regular contact with other PGR students in your school to hear their views and collect feedback on their experience. One PGR Rep per school can also attend the School Academic Committee, which takes place approximately 5-6 times per year, to meet with academic staff and discuss the School’s plans for the student experience. Those who attend will be provided a full briefing ahead of meeting to review the papers and topics to be discussed. PGR Reps are supported in their role by the PGR Academic Representation Assistant, Yata Lengsiriwattanagul.
