Communities work alongside our Student Community Organisers and Course Representatives, and they provide a space to chat about shared aims and issues – giving you the power to make positive change on campus. They’re also a great place to find out about how to get involved in wider community organising campaigns with your Students’ Union.
We host a variety of events including:
- Regular social nights and oppportunities to meet fellow students such as debate nights, film nights, nights out etc. We are aiming to also have a space for academic socials where we come together and study/get work done/watch online lectures.
- Election screening!
- Guest speakers for special events.
- End of year formal ball.
All students on the following courses are automatically enrolled as part of this community. However, if you would like to join the community from another course, you can join as an associate member. The courses that are represented here are:
- BA (Hons) PGCert / MA International Relations
- BA (Hons) Politics
- PGCert / MA International Human Rights Practice
- MA Peace & Development
- MA Public Policy
We hope to see as many people as possible so if you think politics may be your thing, come and check us out.
