South Asian Students Association – Leeds Beckett University

Hi everyone,

The South Asian Students Association (SASA) is one of the largest and most vibrant societies at Leeds Beckett University, dedicated to supporting students from all South Asian countries, including India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan, Maldives, and Afghanistan. Our primary goal is to prioritize the welfare of students and ensure a range of exciting events throughout the year.

We proudly celebrate the diverse cultures of South Asia by hosting festivals such as Eid-ul-Fitr, Holi, Diwali, Basant, Onam, and Hue Festival, bringing together students from different backgrounds to share in these rich traditions.

In addition to our cultural events, the society is committed to supporting students in every aspect of university life. If you're facing challenges adjusting to university or need any assistance, please feel free to reach out. We are here to help and ensure that your university experience is as smooth and enjoyable as possible.

The SASA leadership team:
-President : Sadiqmon Kamarudheen (zaadi)
- Vice President : Vijeesh Radhakrishnan
- Secretary : Arya Sajeev
- Treasurer : Gukan

Everyone is welcome to join the South Asian Students Association, regardless of background or nationality. We encourage you to be part of this inclusive and supportive community.

Thank you, and we look forward to welcoming you!
