Welcome to the Education and Teaching Students' Community!

At Leeds Beckett Students’ Union, our academic communities are organised to bring students together across their subject area. This means that you can meet up, network, and socialise with other students on your course or in similar disciplines outside of your own seminar group or course level!

These communities work alongside our Student Community Organisers and Course Representatives, and they provide a space to chat about shared aims and issues – giving you the power to make positive change on campus. They’re also a great place to find out about how to get involved in wider community organising campaigns with your Students’ Union.

Each academic community is led by students who may be Course Representatives or other leaders within your subject area. If you would like to be involved with the leadership of your community, please get in touch by sending us an email at: communityorganising@leedsbeckett.ac.uk

All students on the following courses are automatically enrolled as part of this academic community. However, if you’d like to join the community from another course, you can register as an associate member!
