Got the post-uni blues? Here are some tips to alleviate stress and help you look after yourself after graduation!

Embrace the change

It can be easy to feel anxious after graduation, especailly if you're uncertain of what's ahead for you. Remember, everyone is on a different timeline, and it's okay to take your time to find your footing. Don't compare and just focus on yourself and embracing these next steps of your life. Practicing self-care like meditating or doing the things you enjoy can also help you relax in this time of change.

Stay in touch with others

Most people will be feeling a bit lost after university, so don't be afraid to reach out and stay connected! Keeping in touch and maintaining that support network around is so important, especailly when it's easy to feel a bit isolated from friends after graduation. Remember, most people are in the same boat as you and may also be feeling some post-university blues. Checking in not only means you can alleviate some of those anxious feelings, but also means you can provide support and understanding to your friends.

Set goals and a healthy routine

Setting small and achievable goals day-to-day can help you to establish a healthy routine and reduce stress overall. Feeling overwhelmed after graduation is normal, so whether it's applying to new jobs, learning a skill or even picking up a new hobby, creating a checklist of things to do in the morning will help make life feel less intimidating.
