Out late and need a lift home, but don’t have any money? We’ve partnered with Amber Cars to renew their Safe Rides initiative!
Safe Rides makes sure that all our students can get a ride back home when it’s dark even if you haven’t got the fare on you, 24 hours a day and seven days a week.
To use the scheme, all you need to do is call Amber Cars at 0113 2311 366 and quote “Leeds Beckett University Safe Rides” to have a car sent to meet you at your location as a priority.
Once the taxi is with you, you will need to give your valid student card as proof of ID to the driver who will pass it on to LBSU. Once you get home safe, you’ll have 72 hours to pay the fare and then we’ll return your student ID!
