Thursday 10 April 2025

6pm - 7:30pm

Calverley Building, Room CL113 - City Campus

Presented in the Doha Debate style, also known as Majlis, this session explores whether diplomats, with their negotiation and conflict resolution skills, could address challenges more effectively than politicians.

Join us for a Doha Debate-style discussion, where we will delve into whether diplomats, with their expertise in negotiation, communication, and conflict resolution, could address pressing challenges more effectively than traditional politicians. This format encourages open dialogue, diverse perspectives, and thought-provoking exchanges.

Can the specialized skills of diplomats foster greater cooperation and understanding in global crises, or are the leadership and decision-making roles of politicians indispensable?

Come prepared to engage in a dynamic and inclusive session that promises to challenge conventional thinking.
