SPECIAL DEBATE - Implementing a Secular Law in the UK

Date and Time: Thursday, 27th February, 2025, 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM

Location: Leeds Beckett University, City Campus Rose Bowl, RB241 LTA

Join us for an engaging and thought-provoking debate hosted by the Debate & Diplomatic Society. In this event, non-religious Humanists and religious Debaters from the Church of England and other religious communities will come together to debate the motion:

"This House would implement a secular law in the UK."

During the event, we will launch a parliamentary e-petition for you to sign, enabling this topic to be further debated in the House of Commons. This is your chance to participate in a vital conversation that impacts the future of our society.

Don't miss this opportunity to engage with diverse perspectives, deepen your understanding of the complexities surrounding secularism, and contribute to a meaningful dialogue about our shared future.
