GAMES:

Two Truths and a Lie

Players take turns saying two truths and one lie about themselves, and the group has to guess which is the lie. It's a great icebreaker and creates conversation.

Guess the Sound

Play or sound out various IPA sounds and have participants guess what they are. 1 person will need to be at the table playing the sounds.

Speech Bingo (winner wins a small prize)

Create bingo cards with different speech therapy-related terms or sounds (e.g., vowel/consonant sounds, common therapy terms like 'articulation,' ‘nasilation’ ‘glue-ear’ ,' etc.). The host calls out the words, and the first player to complete a row, column, or diagonal wins.

Category Naming (Semantic Fluency)

Give a category (e.g., animals, fruits, occupations), and participants have 30 seconds to name as many items as they can within that category. The person who lists the most wins.

Rhyme Time

Pick a word, and each player has to say a word that rhymes with it. The game continues until someone repeats a word or can't think of one. Keep eliminating players until there's one winner.

Board Game Station

Set up a station with classic board games like Scrabble, Boggle, or Taboo. These games promote language and vocabulary skills while being fun and accessible.
