Come join us at our team volunteer day at the Food Bank Warehouse! *5 PLACES AVAILABLE*
Responsibilities
- Providing support with weighing, sorting, and storing donated food in the warehouse.
- If there is a volunteer who is comfortable driving a small van, potentially a few members will be asked to go to the local supermarket in the morning to give out shopping lists to customers of items the food bank needs and bring these back to the warehouse.
Mandatory training
Manual handling training is to be completed before attending due to safety reasons as some lifting is involved.
Anyone who signs up below will be required to complete this, we will send the volunteer manager your email and you’ll be able to access the training which will take 20-30 minutes to complete.
