The University would like to meet with students and colleagues to hear about what is important for them to be able to observe their religion or belief at LBU. This is part of our ongoing commitment to enhance religious equality for our communities.
The University and Leeds Beckett Students Union will be hosting focus groups to hear from anybody who would like to share their views and experiences of religion and belief whilst studying or working here at the University.
Feedback from the focus groups will help us to review what the needs of the communities are by asking questions about how you observe your religion or belief whilst on campus.
A focus group will be offered for each of the six communities that our data shows we have represented in our student and colleague communities here at the University:
All focus groups will be facilitated and will be 45 minutes long. The sessions will be a supportive and welcoming space for people to share their views and experiences. The sessions will not be recorded, but some anonymised notes will be taken by the facilitators.
You can choose which faith community you identify with, and we recognise that not everybody observes their religion or belief in the same way.
