Join us for our first Swap & Smile event at Leeds Beckett! Happening at Headingley Campus in the LBSU Social Space at the entrance of Campus Central from 12-3pm this Friday 25 October. Join us and pick up to two items of clothing, books or toys.
Harry decided to launch this series of events at the beginning of the term to support students during the cost of living crisis that might want to save some money on essential items. This is an amazing initiative that allows students to help each other by swapping items and donating clothing, books and toys. This is going to be a series of events throughout the academic year so please keep an eye on this page for updates.
To ensure that as many students as possible benfit from this project we are asking students attending the Swap & Smile event to only pick two items from our collection.
To collect items, present yourself to the event organiser and show your student ID.
If you're bringing anything to donate or swap, please ensure that it is in good condition and that it doesn't include any offensive messages.
