Women Into Work Jobs Fair

Smart Works Leeds are delighted to announce that we are holding our first ever Jobs Fair on Thursday February 8th, 10am- 2pm at Leeds Beckett Students' Union. The Women Into Work Jobs Fair is an opportunity for any woman looking for a job in Leeds to speak to a range of employers with a variety of live vacancies and training opportunities, who are keen to bring more women into their workforce.

We have employers representing the retail, customer services, warehousing, admin, care, construction, charity and hospitality sectors. Attendees can get support applying for roles in the NHS and the Civil Service too.

We are encouraging attendees to book their slot here: Join the guestlist – Women into Work Jobs Fair but they are also welcome to turn up on the day.

Sky- advice about applying for graduate, apprenticeship and technology opportunities
Jet2- roles including admin, IT support, customer services, HR, compliance and security, ground operations and cabin crew.
Morrisons- head office roles, retail positions, convenience, manufacturing and logistics, including lots of entry level positions
Leeds Community Healthcare- entry level positions in the NHS including healthcare and admin positions
Leeds Teaching Hospitals- positions in pharmacies, including entry level roles and apprenticeships
UK Civil Service- support to apply for Civil Service jobs
Leeds Apprenticeships Hub- apprenticeships in a range of sectors
Forward Leeds- support roles within the third sector and admin positions
Leeds Building Society- speak to the LBS Talent and Early Years Career Managers who can advise you about getting into a career in financial services
Lloyds- apprenticeships and entry level roles for candidates interested in a career in finance
Marriot Hotel- hospitality, housekeeping and guest room attendees
Morgan Sindall, Overbury, United Living and Lovell- offering a range of entry level construction including practical roles, administration and HR positions
Jobs for Women- access to a range of vacancies with employers dedicated to supporting women into work including engineering, administration, third sector, IT and finance
WYCA- roles in finance, HR, legal, communications, casework and front of house roles

Admission to an event is at all times subject to any terms, conditions or rules of the Promoter and the venue operator. If you do not comply with any Promoter or venue terms, conditions or rules then the Promoter or venue operator may refuse admission or require you or other ticket holders to leave the venue and you will not be entitled to a refund.
