An exciting opportunity has arisen to work with us on building a new democratic student engagement model, fit for a modern and forward-facing Students’ Union, and in line with the civic vision of Leeds Beckett University. We want to take a fresh approach to how we represent and engage with our student members, and we are looking for the right expertise and experience to support us with developing our new model. In particular, we are looking for individuals or organisations who can:
- Contribute expertise of best practice in community organising and decision-making in membership-led organisations and local communities
- Facilitate creative thinking on what might work for us here at LBSU, helping us understand the civic journey of our students and enabling us to design a new democracy tailored to their needs
