About Us

We fight for the hope and happiness of young people when it's threatened by abuse, exploitation and neglect.

We see the hope and courage in young people every day and we support them for as long as it takes for them to break free from their trauma.

By 2030 we will have overturned the damaging decline in children’s well-being, setting a path for long lasting growth.

The Children's Society is an organisation and therefore informs everything that we do. It is made up of our vision, mission and values. By this we mean what we want to achieve, how we will go about achieving it and the way in which we will approach everything that we do. It reflects the history of our charity and will determine our future.

Our look focuses on why hope matters and the importance of restoring, protecting and strengthening young people’s hope and happiness. We want you to see the essence of youthful hope we know exists in every young person in the country, even in those who have it toughest of all, through the stories, pictures and voices of young people.
